Missouri’s not so bad. I’m right next to MO. So now you can go visit them, and maybe we can get together sometime!

Why do all the trees in Kansas lean East?
We used to live in Johnson County, but I never expected them to move back to that area. Both my sisters still live around there. I don’t think that’s the reason though.
It’s not that it’s bad, I’ve just never lived more than three hours away from them. I didn’t expect them to be the ones to move away. None of us thought they would ever sell their house. It’s been on the market for a couple years, because they were asking too much and my mom is averse to cleaning. Somebody looked at it in the morning and made an offer for full price that afternoon, so we had no warning at all that it was going to happen.
On the other hand, I rarely visited them anyway, so now I don’t have to feel guilty about it. And we’ll have to drive to Missouri in the winter, which will suck. I also feel bad for my sisters, who can’t stand our mom. I guess I just have mixed feelings about it.

If nothing else, we’ll almost certainly be there for christmas.

WOW
I can’t believe that your parents actually sold their house. That is quite amazing.
Hope you and Casey are doing good.

Re: WOW
I know. Somebody looked at it, then made an offer that day. That’s the same way we bought it, so it is probably someone in a similar situation (too rushed to make a good decision).
