Funny

I just got a chain email stating that there is a new virus (the worst ever, of course) that is sweeping the internet. The funny part is, it is supposed to come in an email with a subject of either, “A Virtual Card for You,” or “An Internet Flower For You.” I might be mistaken, but I think there are major companies that offer card services that use those subjects. This thing is a hoax, because the information in it is just incorrect, so I think it was something started by someone who wanted to damage those businesses by making people delete cards without reading them.
I knew stuff like this would start happening. People are so panicy and ignorant that it is easier to do damage with a hoax than to write a virus, even a VBA virus. How pathetic.

Funny
I got one that said almost the same thing, but this one said not to respond to posts with the title, “Funny“.

It’s not only a hoax, it’s over a year old now, if memory serves … my sister sent me the chain email last week. %-) (ONE of these years she’ll learn to look these damned things up on Symantec’s website herself before she innundates her friends and family with chain mail …)
