Calling All Truck Owners!

I’m thinking of buying a truck in the next five years. Pickup truck, probably full bed (I don’t see the point of short bed trucks–you get all the discomfort of a truck without the hauling capacity).
I would appreciate it if people who own trucks, or know anything about trucks, would care to share their experience and expertise. I would be getting it to haul stuff and be my primary vehicle. My wife has a sedan that would be used for going places, transporting friends, etc.

Toyota Tacoma PreRunner King Cab. Room for 5 comfortably, good bed space, dependable.
What more could you want?

If you plan on buying a truck, buy a truck.
Toyotas are really just glorified cars. They have almost no hauling capacity…then again, they beat the Hell out of my little ranger hehe. I recommend Dodge or Chevy if you want a truck to be a truck.

I won’t need to seat five comfortably though, so I would rather not spend the extra money.

Ok, so no King Cab. The rest still fits.

I already have a GMC. The Toyota would be a step up.

The regular cabs suck for me because I don’t feel like I fit. I can’t move the seat back so I feel confined…
That is just me though.

I know, I was speaking from experience. I own a GMC Sonoma, and drive a Toyota Tacoma at work, and I prefer the Tacoma.
