It seems to me that feminists are always the first to tell women what they can and can’t do or think. You can’t be a house-wife or a stripper, you must wear suits with big shoulders and be aggressive business people. You must believe that all women are beautiful, but only if they don’t try to be. No conclusions yet, just thoughts.

feminists? nahhh…just bossy old ladies…
Those don’t sound like feminists to me
They sound like your run-of-the-mill, annoying women. Real feminists don’t try to run *everyone’s* life, they just try to help people see the bigger picture. It’s easy to try and force people to do things they don’t want to do, but it’s harder still to hand them (show them) something and let them figure it out for themselves.
I think a lot of women are insecure about themselves as women, which makes it easy for them to lash out at other women without thinking. I’d love to blame everything on the media, but of course, I can’t. But I can blame the media for imposing images of women that are beyond anyone’s realistic imagination. I can blame them for making women appear to be annoying and bossy people. And I can definitely blame them for lowering everyone’s IQ just a little bit.
Maybe it’d be better to read a lot and question everything, especially when it comes to feminism. People like the easy way, though, I guess…where they let the media dictate what they think and act. (I guess that’s the appeal of MTV, frankly).
Anyway. I’m just babbling and it’s 5am.
