When did vengeance become an American value?
What a great deal! »
It might be that it’s being portrayed or sold as such but really, it isn’t.
Don’t forget that you’re at war and that normal people say totally abnormal things, nonsensical things during times like these.
For the record: Vengeance is a human trait and that’s all it is.
War sucks. It sucks for the people whose butts we kick, and it sucks for the people who have to leave their families and fight in their own way, and it sucks for out emotions, and May have a negative affect on SomE attitudes.
But war is good for our economy. When someone does crap to our country, war allows “us” to show them that they can’t just come into our country and tear our souls and lives apart. War unites our nation, as sad as it may be to see that’s what it takes to bring it together.
It is not moral, nor is it logical, but it is started, and must be finished out.
Fear, and me reading doesn’t help.
Blind patriotism is a real bitch
I’ve just been disheartened by all the militant people calling into the talk shows. I guess I can’t judge the country by the listeners of conservative talk shows though.
“but it is started, and must be finished out.”
When do you think it will be finished? We will most likely go after Iraq, then Syria will come after us for that. WWI started because of overzealous alliances and blind vengeance.
You can say what you want about National Socialism, at least it’s an ethos.
Fuck it, Dude–Let’s go bowling….
an American value?
What’s everyone lookin at me for?
